Stefano Proverbio brings to Innova significant experience in industrial strategy and the governance of leading Italian companies.

He is an Equity Partner of Innova Investments and Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company. He serves on the Boards of Directors of Angelini, Coesia, SAES Getters and Retex, and is a member of the Investment Committee of F2i Fund III and of the Advisory Board of Ambienta SGR.

From 2016 to 2018, he served as a Board Member of SPAC Innova Italy 1 S.p.A.

He joined McKinsey & Company in 1987, became Principal in 1992 and Director in 1998. During his career at McKinsey, he advised industrial, technology, energy and infrastructure companies in Italy and abroad, working on strategy, organisation, growth and transformation projects, particularly in Italy, France, Turkey, Greece and Germany.

He began his career at the Zanussi Group and subsequently joined Accenture, where he was responsible for the Logistics service line.

He graduated in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and worked as a researcher at Politecnico di Milano and at Euratom, the European Atomic Energy Community.
